I am sure Ahmad zahir would have been so much better if he was alive? My friend, you are the one who is lost, not anyone else. It is so sad to see how pathatic some people are...always comparing singers and putting one down over another. It is truly shame that a person who probably can not put to notes together can sit here and say no body is better after ahmad zahir. Every singer has their own style and charisma. Ahmad zahir achieved most of his success after he died. We can see how he kept recording same songs over and over in the late 70s when his popularity was diminishing and his role as a singer was going down. He copied so many songs that it has become countless now, yet there is enough respect for him that no one mentions it to ruin his legendary status. No one is comparing one singer to another; we must respect them because these guys are the last of the golden generation of afghan music. Ahmad wali, Ahmad zahir, Zahir howida, Nashenas are all top notch singers in their own style. If you really want to compare, then 1000 ahmad zahirs will not equal one ustad sarahang's achievements.

How come it is allowed to exaggerate after an artist dies but do not compliment a quality artist when he is with us.
